Mission

The E.W. Kingbird Land Conservancy aims to obtain land within the lower 48 states in order to preserve and maintain critical habitat and breeding grounds for local and migratory birds and their cohabitants—deer, antelope, moose, elk, etc. The conservancy’s mission is to protect land from development for the use of all bird species from those of least concern status to those that are critically endangered.

Goals

01.
identify

Locate and preserve land for critical species such as the Saltmarsh Sparrow or Cerulean Warbler.

02.
reach out

We will create and work with current initiatives to get government and local funding for conservation.

03.
participate

Engage with local communities to inform about opportunities to develop your own wildlife sanctuary!

04.
Awareness

We partner with other conservation programs, such as Lights Out Towson University to promote awareness!
